This document is in poor to fair condition. There's considerable wear on the edges of the pages, particularly on the front cover. There's a crease from top to bottom where the publication was folded at some time in the past. There are various little creases where, presumably, other things sat on the publication.
So far as I can tell, the document doesn't have any publication date printed anywhere on it. The document was, according to an ink-pad type stamp on the back cover, distributed by the Recruiting Station, Post Office Building, Pocatello, Idaho. I don't have a clue as to when it was distributed. I'm not a military man, but to my uneducated eye, it appears to be a World War II vintage publication.
The pages in the publication are not numbered. So far as I can tell by looking, they're all present. Counting the front and back covers, there are16 pages.
The content is entirely pictures and short text descriptions of "life
at sea". I've included a sample page,
